Route Recording

We want to have our route automatically recorded as we travel. Too often I have forgotten to start the route recording on my phone. Having the route recorded will allow us to share routes or ensure we travel different routes when desired. The plan is to use a Raspberry Pi to log GPS coordinates as we drive. Those coordinates as well as other environmental conditions and possibly snapshot exterior pictures will be recorded in a database. That database can then be used to populate a map to display previous routes.
