HVAC
Heating provided by an Aqua Hot gas fired hydronic heating system. Supplying in floor heating, air heating, and hot water. A hot water loop from the engine ensure hot water when we stop for camp as well as engine preheating.
AC - Cruising Comfort under mount
Fresh Air - Computer control fresh filtered air intake to control interior air quality.
The goal is to have the HVAC be as automatic as possible, we don't have to think about the climate control. The system will be aware of the outside temperature and humidity as well as the trending weather. Windows and doors are monitored so the system doesn't waste energy heating or cooling the outdoors. When showering or cooking raises the humidity in the van, more outside air will be brought in or the inside air itself can be dehumidified because the AC can dry the air before heating it (like a car defogger). This system will be the most sophisticated one of it's kind (an engineer's brag :-))
This system won't require a Maxx (or similar) fan. Air intake will be on the roof
### Notes
Below here are just a random collection of notes and represent my thoughts and ramblings and any information should be vetted by yourself. This information will be updated as the design process moves along.
No Maxx fan required
Air exit near shower, a flap valve only letting air out
RTX2000 AC large enough for 170 sprinter.
AC

Plan on compressor and evaporator placement. Evaporator up high ideally
3D print vent
Use metal fan on toilet exit. That fan runs all the time providing the air exchange. Need filtered air intake with fan to pressurize the van for dust control. Toilet fan should dump out on the roof.

Add override for dash mounted fresh air intake.
Also might want a way to ensure fresh air is on when offroading
Main AC/ heat unit on passenger side includes fresh air intake at roof level.
Vent up besides bed
Vent tube to opposite side of bed
Vent to kitchen floor and shower.
Draw air from behind refrigerator and electronics bay for ventilation
AC only to power electronics. This might require the AC evap without the heat loop.
Air Heat exchanger under sink with vent to base of shower, for drying curtain and hanging clothes.
Vent at top of shower directly to outside?
3 Hydronic loops -
Main floor loop, tempered with thermostatic pump control.
Under battery tempered with thermostatic pump control?
Hot water sink, shower with on when in camp mode pump control
Rear hot water shower water??
